We went back to the apartment and signed the lease today. You were still a bit nervous but opened up a little and played as long as I was close by. It was nice to see you finding some level of comfort there and I wonder if it will help you feel more familiar when we move in. We walked the neighborhood for a while afterward. It really is such a better environment and will be good for you. We couldn’t find a playground, but there is a swimming pool. There’s also many oaths to explore that we didnt even get into today. It will be nice for us to take you walking. You were very tired afterward again but didn’t sleep until after lunch as planned. Mom went out for lunch so I got you into bed. Surprisingly you only slept about an hour and then were hard to satisfy the rest of the day. You had some more near tantrums when I didn’t know what you want. You fussed a lot and had a couple major outbursts when we had to do things you didn’t want to. We are very patient with you but this phase is a challenge. We value giving you independence but also need you to learn some rules and limits. It seems like when at home, there’s not enough to keep you excited so when there is something you want it is all that you want.
