It’s the end of the week and I am wondering how it will go over the weekend. I have had to coax you into leaving school every day lately because you want to stay and play. I think you believe your friends and teachers will all still be there. I am very glad you like it there but feel a little sad you don’t seem to long for the time with us as much. The reason I worry about the weekend is because the evenings after school are already becoming tougher. You don’t want to do any of the routine we need to do. You get frustrated quickly because you feel confident in your expression but we don’t always understand. You feel independent and don’t want help even when we know it will be necessary and have still let you try yourself first. All these things lead to you crying and then it is hard to console you without making you get more angry at being bothered.
