I wanted to get to school early and we had a surprisingly smooth morning tonget ready. We ended up arriving before 7:30 so we went to my classroom first. I wanted to prepare my things for my class’ outdoor trip today. As I prepared you came and told me you had poopoo. You’re getting better and better at letting us know so we can clean you up promptly. But lately it is also a little worrying. You seem very uncomfortable when you do poo, or even when you feel like you want to. You’re body seems to be struggling because now you seem to have only one every other day or so instead of multiple per day. Mom’s trying changes to your milk diet and maybe that is the problem. I am sure you’ll be thrilled to look back on this and read about crapping, but I was getting to another point. Last time I had to change you early at school you fought me like crazy. Today I am happy to say that you cooperated and were also very happy about chatting through each step of the process. You narrated what I was doing in each step. You’re so good at saying full sentences and expressing connected ideas. It ended up being a happy statt to the day for both of us. I got what I needed to done without rushing. We spent a little more time together. And you were happy to see Doudou and Huahua arrive and let me say bye.
