I know you are a clever kid but your intelligence shocks me sometimes. I bought some wooden models to assemble and use as classroom decorations. You’d seen the finished airplane model at home. This week I began working on a car model at school and today you noticed it in my classroom. The moment you saw it you said che. The crazy thing is that I have barely assembled the frame and there is nothing at all that indicates it is a car yet. There’s no wheels, no seats, no discernable cabin. The motor is mostly built, but you have never seen one of those. I don’t know how you had any idea what it was. Some of my student’s have seen me as I built bit by bit and every one of them has asked me what it is. You see things and understand them so quickly. You understand more than is even obvious is many cases. Every parent wants to brag about their kid, but I don’t exaggerate when I say that you often make me think you’re some kind of genius. I do hope that you are smart and capable in life, but you seem to be on a trajectory beyond those labels. I am proud though mostly because I feel it can be taken as a sign of your health and happiness.
