I feel confident that you are back in your comfort zone going to school again. Today you went right in and were ready to take off your shoes, wash your hands and eat breakfast. I sat for a little while as you started eating because it is hard to leave you. However you seem confident and happy and I know I can’t always hover over you. Technically I also need to get to my class as early as possible too. Nonetheless I am eager to see you at the end of the day and was happy my students all got picked up quickly so I could get you. We went to my class and sat a while before it was time to leave. I took down my lotus drum since you hadn’t played with it for a while. You said da gu a lot in an excited voice. I was watching you play with only one drumstick and showed you how to play with two. You did it well but quickly gave one back because you wanted to play together. I really loved that you wanted to do this fun thing together. When we went home I stopped to take a kuaidi and was impressed that you waited on the bike while I waited for the package. You have waited before but for only a few seconds and this time it took a few minutes but you didn’t complain or struggle to get out. The package was some books I am excited to receive. They are Chinese stories but written in English. I think they will be great for you and also useful for my class.
