I was worried that going back to work again today would cause chaos in the morning. You enjoyed the holiday time with all of us together so much it is hard to adjust to not seeing me. I know yesterday was a bit tough for mom until grandpa arrived. Luckily Yipo came today to spend some time with you and mom. We wondered if you’d remember her because you didn’t see her for a while. Mom said you were hesitant at first, but did eventually play with her and let her hold you. Happily that cheered you up because you had a fit when I left this morning. She brought some more toys to give you and it was great watching you play with them this evening. There’s a little Elsa doll that you seem absolutely in love with. She also gave you a set of Peppa Pig toys including all the family members. You repeated their names after mom and I very well. The other toys you loled the most are a little brush and mirror that you understand how to use very well. You’re quite a rough and adventurous little girl, but I can tell you still admire some beautiful and typical girly things.
