I am up kinda late tonight and got a message from mom that you have a fever. You two were already in bed sleeping but I have heard you wake up coughing and crying a few times. She was evidently right about the cough. I am sad to hear that since I hoped she was just being overly worried as usual and that you would just have a little cold you could easily get through. It’s really a bummer since we stayed home today specifically to try and make sure you didn’t push too hard and get sicker. We never even went outside which was good, because although you played quite well you did cough and sneeze a lot and used about 3 entire packs of tissues. I even could tell your energy was lower than usual and made sure we gave you a chance to sleep a while in the morning instead of waiting for one afternoon nap. Sorry to see you suffering more dear. We’re already doing all we can to get you well again, starting with medicine and foot soaks already today. We’ll see how the rest of the weekend goes but it already looks like you’ll need a little break from school.
