Finally some relief. The medicine seems to be helping you sleep a lot better. The cough still sounds horrible and your nose is draining like a faucet. We haven’t seen you smile and you have hardly made a sound other than crying these days. Fortunately you are eating well still. Now that you’re getting some sleep I do believe that progress will continue. It’s just so hard for you, clearly, since your entire personality has diminished. We are aching to see you through this. I still feel guilty and just wish I could take all your suffering onto myself. I cannot possibly give you enough hugs to make up for it.
