I’m having to work over the weekend for some administrative meetings at school. It’s a bummer to lose the time with you, but the tradeoff will be that I can spend some time with mom on Monday and Tuesday and we can both take it a little easy. We love everything about being your parents even though it means we have less to give each other. It’s good to have even a small chance to spend some time with her. You also get more time with Grandpa which is nice. You both love each other a lot and he too is often busy helping with chores rather than just getting to enjoy being with you. I missed you and definitely will again tomorrow. At least these days can still end with a little playtime before bed and lots of hugs and kisses.
